Zara, one of our founders’ dogs, has always had an unmistakable love for the outdoors. Whether she was basking in the summer sun or bounding through snowdrifts during the frigid Canadian winters, Zara always preferred to be outside. However, as the cold weather settled in, her safety and warmth became a top priority for our founder. He quickly realized that finding the best heater for dog houses was going to be more difficult than anticipated.
After scouring online forums, reading countless reviews, and trying a variety of heaters, the same issues kept appearing hot spots, inconsistent heat, and a lack of temperature monitoring. Zara’s safety was too important to trust a product that couldn’t reliably keep her warm without overheating or underperforming.
The Problem with Most Dog House Heaters
Our founder’s search led to several critical issues with many of the existing products marketed for outdoor animals:
- Hot Spots: Most heaters created dangerously uneven heat zones, which could easily overheat parts of the dog house while leaving other areas cold.
- Inconsistent Heat: Many heaters didn’t provide reliable warmth, leaving gaps in comfort and potentially exposing animals to harsh cold.
- No Temperature Monitoring: Without the ability to monitor and control the temperature, it was impossible to guarantee Zara’s safety, especially in Canada’s unpredictable winter climate.
These problems are all too familiar for many animal owners, especially those with outdoor-loving animals like Zara. Determined to create a solution, our founder—together with the rest of the team—set out to build a safe animal heater for cold climates, something designed specifically with animals’ needs in mind.
Amayadori: A Safer Solution for Outdoor Animals
That’s how Amayadori came to life. The project began out of necessity, but it quickly evolved into something bigger. We are currently in the process of developing our third prototype, with a focus on solving the key issues our founder faced while searching for a reliable heating solution for Zara. Our heaters are designed to eliminate hot spots, provide consistent warmth, and allow for temperature monitoring, ensuring your animals stay comfortable and safe.
Though our product is not yet complete, we’re getting closer every day. We’re passionate about creating the best heaters for dog houses and chicken coops, and we’re excited to bring a truly effective solution to the market soon.
